Debra Farrish

Owner

Deb is the proud owner and mastermind of River Road Riding Club; she built it from the ground up! Deb also successfully owns and operates multiple, thriving businesses.

Deb Farrish is from Chesterfield, Virginia, has a B.S. in Equestrian Science
and Business Administration, from William Woods University, and has been a horse owner and
horse lover for 47 years. Her horse, Luke, is the reason that she built River Road Riding Club. She also has a Spotted Draft horse, Crown Royal who keeps her laughing on a daily basis. Deb is around the farm 7 days a week and thinks of each boarded horse as special as her own.

Her American Quarter Horse, Luke, and Spotted Draft, Royal, live a luxurious life here at RRRC!

In her own words, her favorite part of running a horse barn is “Establishing a superior standard of care for the horses.”

Alicia Tropper

Manager

Alicia began her journey at RRRC when she was 17 years old. Over the last 10 years she’s worked her way up from farm hand to becoming our devoted Barn Manager!

She works alongside Debra Farrish to ensure the horses, boarders, and facility are well taken care of. Alicia boards her mare, Sky, here at RRRC, and she loves taking dressage lessons and riding with her fellow boarders!

We asked her what her favorite part about working for RRRC is and she said, “I love the history I have here and being a part of the tight-knit community at RRRC. We have a lot of fun caring for and enjoying our horses together!”

Alicia keeps our farm running smoothly and we trust her greatly with our animals. We are so happy to have her here as she is invaluable to our operation. We thank you Alicia for all that you do for our family and our animals!

Andy Jimenez

In house trainer

Andy came to RRRC four years ago to board his Gelding, Remington! We came to find not only did we gain a nice boarder with a beautiful gelding, but he’s also a wonderful instructor!

Andy’s horsemanship began in Spain and Colombia; he was also training in South Florida before he came to Virginia! He teaches show jumping and classical dressage.

He instills in his students the importance of developing a relationship between horse and rider.

Andy now boards three horses with us: Remington, Jinx, and Giada! We enjoy watching Andy’s students grow through his influence!
